Here you can read about the individual steps involved in registering and activating your entry. If you need help, please feel free to contact us.
Registration
1. How can I register?
Click on Register or, if you are already registered, on Log in.
2. What do I need to do to register?
- Please fill out the form completely.
- Read our terms of use and confirm that you accept them. You will then receive an email from us.
- Please open the email in your inbox and confirm your registration.
- You can now log in as a user.

3. How can I register a new vacation rental?
Click New listing.

4. How can I register my type of accommodation (house, apartment, boat, etc.)?
- Please select Vacation Rentals.
- Under Category, you can specify whether it is a house, apartment, or other type of property.
- If you select other property type, you have the option to enter accommodations such as tents or boats.
5. How can I insert details and information about the accommodation?
In Details you can enter all the information about your vacation accommodation.
6. Where can I enter information on sustainability and organizational issues?
- Describe what makes your accommodation so special: What can your guests look forward to?
- What values and principles are important to you as a host? One value could be treating other guests and the host with respect, for example, or being considerate of one another.
- Please only list sustainability certificates that are officially recognized, such as the EU Ecolabel. If you have a certificate, please name it and include the year it was awarded.
- If you do not have a certificate, you could list the sustainability measures that apply to you. Here are a few examples:
- Conscientious waste separation
- Environmentally friendly cleaning products
- Sustainable energy generation with solar energy
- etc.
- In the Special features and organizational details field, you can include information on key handover, cleaning, or other informative details.
- Under Deposit and tourist tax, you can enter the amount of the deposit and describe whether it is to be transferred to you in advance or is payable on site.
Once you have entered all the information, please click on Continue.

7. How do I enter the address?
Enter the address to record the location. Click “Continue.”

8. How can I add price variants?

You can enter different daily rates for each season by clicking Add price variant.

For example, daily rate for the winter season or daily rate for the summer season.

You can delete your entry by clicking Delete price variant.

If you have a discount code for the agency, you can enter it here. The discount code reduces the commission charged by Footprint Properties.

9. How can I record my general availability?
To record general availability, click on Set the standard schedule. By specifying the days of the week, you indicate whether your accommodation can generally be booked every day or is only available on certain days.
10. How can I customize the booking calendar?
To avoid double bookings, you can adjust your booking calendar at any time and mark days that are already booked as unavailable:
- Click Add an availability exception.
- Select Unavailable in the input mask.
- Select the days in the calendar that are already booked.
11. How can I adjust my booking availability?
- You can keep your booking calendar up to date by marking availability exceptions for periods that have already been booked.
- Please add an availability exception for each booking. This allows you to make quick adjustments if a guest cancels.
Periods that have already been booked will be grayed out for both you and potential guests. Potential guests will no longer be able to book periods that you have already entered in your calendar.

12. How do I add photos?
Click on + Add a photo.
You can add photos up to a maximum size of 20 MB. We recommend that you take at least 8 photos. These should be bright and of good quality (not pixelated) and show different aspects of your vacation rental.
Style
13. How can I set a style for my ad?
- Select a style by clicking on a color chart.
- You can now publish the entry.
Payout settings
14. How can I register my account for payouts?
Footprint Properties works with Stripe to ensure secure payment transactions.
- Use the input mask to specify whether you are a private individual or a company.
- Click on Verify yourself. You will then be redirected to Stripe to enter the remaining information so that your tax and bank details are correct and we can make payments to you.
15. How does verification via Stripe work?
For verification purposes, Stripe will ask for your email address and phone number. Please enter these details. A verification code will be sent to your cell phone. Enter this code in the input field.
16. How can I publish the entry?
- You will be guided through the process by Stripe's input mask. The verification process is only complete once you have entered all the information.
- Once you have entered all the information, you can close the window.
- Confirm entry published
Your entry will then be published.
Published listing
17. How can I make changes on a published listing?
Your listing has been successfully published. You can make changes on your listings at any time by clicking on Change listing or clicking on your icon and choosing the listing you want to update in your overview.
